My wife drives a lot. Didn’t drop the drain plug, or filter, or splash any dirty oil all over my driveway this time! Hooray me!
Pretty pleased with this car. Still not missing a drop of oil between changes. I just check fluid levels and the battery every few weeks. Sticking with the conventional oil and 3,500 mile intervals. We haven’t even had the car for a full year, but 17,000 miles isn’t a bad sample size.
Some of you on here are replacing things like transmission, timing belts, entire suspensions... But this: this is pretty much it for me. A boring oil change. Until I buy another Tercel, I suppose.

I once had a Vibe. It was a 2003 AWD, Neptune Blue, too bad the rust got to it and caused to many problems. I really miss the front passenger seat folding flat, and the rear glass lifting separate from the trunk. I miss that blue turd.
Stripes & flames made it faster-ish.

The HEMIWagon burned 1qt of oil in 6,000 miles. I call that success. Next oil change is about 2500 miles away.

Drain plug can be stubborn. Usually needs a little tap.
